Physiotherapy assessment and treatment for infrapatellar impingement treatment at our Sinnamon Park clinic.
The infrapatellar fat pad is soft tissue that lies behind and just below your patella. It separates the patella from the femoral condyle.
The infrapatellar fat pad distributes pressure across the patellofemoral joint, facilitates flexible deformation in the knee and supports patellar stability. This fat pad can become pinched (impinged) causing pain when moving.
However, infrapatellar inflammation can occur due to other associated knee conditions:
Sinnamon Park Village, 3/58 Oldfield Road — ground floor, parking at the door. Patients come to us from across Brisbane’s western suburbs.
Can’t get to the clinic? We also offer home visits. Not sure this is what you have? See all conditions we treat.
The sooner this is looked at, the shorter the recovery usually is. Book online in under a minute, or call and describe what is going on.
No referral needed — bring one only if you are claiming through Medicare, DVA or WorkCover.
